This 5-day circuit takes you to discover the four Imperial Cities of Morocco: Casablanca, Rabat, Fes and Marrakech, as well as the Merzouga desert. A perfect combination of history, culture, landscapes and adventure in the Sahara.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fes
Pick‑up from your hotel or airport in Casablanca. Outside view of the Hassan II Mosque. Departure for Rabat. Visit of the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Oudayas Kasbah. Free lunch. Continue to Fes. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Guided tour of Fes
Breakfast. Day dedicated to the visit of the Fes medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with an official local guide. Discover the tanneries, Al Quaraouiyine University and the souks. Dinner and second night in Fes.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Departure to the desert. Cross Ifrane ("the Swiss of Morocco"), Midelt and the Ziz Valley. Arrival in Merzouga. Camel ride and overnight in a camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
Sunrise. Breakfast. Return by camel or vehicle. Drive to Ouarzazate through the Dadès Valley and the Rose Valley. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
Visit of the Aït Ben Haddou kasbah. Return to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Arrival in the evening.
